What services are available?
Dye & Durham offers access to municipal tax certificates (TCOL), title searches (TSOL), and the ability to order property documents (eStrataHub and eCondoHub).
Over time, we’ll be expanding the scope of these two services by adding more cities and properties. In addition, we’ll be adding more services to meet your needs.
What are the system requirements?
In order to use our services, your computer and software should meet the minimum standard for Internet access. Please note: mobile browsers e.g. iPhone, Android etc. are not supported.
To access our services, you should be using one of the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer version 9 or better. Latest version recommended.
- Firefox version 11 or better. Latest version recommended.
- Chrome version 25 or better. Latest version recommended.
Please note, there may be issues for Realtors using Safari on an iPad or iPhone where they cannot upload their Listing Agreement with their eStrataHub or eCondoHub order. This is due to restrictions that Apple has placed on these devices. For more information on this topic, please see our FAQ which talks about attaching a Listing Agreement using an iPad.
Also note that your computer and operating system should be capable of supporting the browser software mentioned above.
I’m using an iPad. How do I attach the listing agreement?
Although Dye & Durham does not formally support iPads, there are work-arounds that should allow you to use an iPad.
The standard Safari browser that comes with an iPad is not designed to attach PDF files. To do this, you need to use an Internet browser that allows for this functionality.
Instructions for using one such browser can be found here.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost to join Dye & Durham. Each service has its own Dye & Durham service fee, and products within each service will have their own fee.
The cost of a tax certificate will vary depending on the city, and the cost of ordering property documents will vary depending on the documents you need and how quickly you need them.

Can I register my credit card with Dye & Durham?
Yes. When you sign in to “MY ACCOUNT”, you will see a Credit Card tab. Click this tab and enter information for one or more cards.
When you need to enter payment information, you will have the option to use a credit card already registered, or enter another card at the time of purchase.
Are my credit card transactions safe?
Dye & Durham has partnered with Moneris, one of North America’s leading Payment Processors, to allow our customers to pay for our services using a credit card.
Our interface to Moneris uses the latest and most secure technology platforms to process your credit card transactions, and we do not store your credit card infomation on our systems.
Is my credit card charged when I place my eStrataHub or eCondoHub order?
When you place your eStrataHub or eCondoHub order, you will be asked to input your credit card information. When you do, we request a pre-set authorization of the estimated amount against your card. This is similar to using your credit card to fill up your car at a gas station.
This pre-set authorization serves to validate that the card is in good standing. The pre-set authorization will re-apply itself every few days until your order is delivered and you complete payment for the final amount of the eStrataHub or eCondoHub order.
Please note that when the authorization is re-applied, the old one is deleted so the amount of the pre-set authorization remains static while your order is prepared.
During the pre-set authorization period (the time between placing your order and when you authorize payment of the final amount) nothing is charged to your card. However, the credit available on your card is reduced by the pre-set authorization amount.
Once you make payment on your eStrataHub or eCondoHub order, the pre-set authorization is released and the final amount of the order is charged to your card.
What do I receive when I order a Form B through eStrataHub?
In addition to the Form B itself, the Strata Property Act requires that other documents be delivered when a Form B is requested.
The Act defines the following must be included with your request for a Form B:
- Rules
- Budget
- Rental Disclosure Statement
- Depreciation Report
What if I lose my receipt or my search?
Your receipts, TCOL searches, and strata documents are saved by Dye & Durham so you may retrieve them.
In TCOL, just click the Purchase History tab, locate your previous search, click the “View” icon, and then click either the Tax Certificate or Receipt tab.
In eStrataHub or eCondoHub, enter the order number in the Order# field and click Find. When your order is displayed, either click the Download button to access your property documents, or click the Receipt/Statement button to display your receipt.
In TSOL, just click the Purchase History tab, locate your previous search, click the “View” icon, and then click either the Title Search or Receipt button.
What are the rules for my password?
Your password must be at least six characters long.
Will my password ever expire?
Your password will never expire, but it is a good idea to change your password from time to time. Changing your password on your birthday is a good way to keep your password fresh, and an easy day to remember to change it.
To change your password, sign into “My Account” and click on the “Change Password” tab. Enter your new password in both the New Password and Confirm New Password fields. Click “Save” to save your new password.
What if I forget my password?
Just click the “Having trouble logging in” on the Sign In screen. Then, enter your email address on the “Forgot Password” screen. An email containing instructions on how to reset your password will be sent to the registered email.
How do I receive my eStrata/eCondo documents once I place an order?
When the management company has completed your order, you will receive an email letting you know that the order is ready for you to complete payment on. Once you sign in and complete payment on the order there will be a Download Documents button that will allow you to download your documents.
The documents do not get emailed to you as some documents are very large and email will not handle sending large documents.
